Networks (mapping)
Analyze the structure of information in a references set
Displaying information with Networks allows the user to see links between information via graphics. A Network is a graphical representation of a matrix.
The principal advantage is that this representation can automatically create groups of information, and display the different topics of the patent set.
  Symetrical Networks
This kind of network indicates the presence of information within a reference. The user can display the number of references having an item, and the number of references having two items simultaneously.
  Asymetrical Networks
This kind of network representation co-occurs with two differents fields. Also, this mapping can be made more clear by using the matrices method.
